Painted this past Saturday live, in front of Convention Center goers coming to the Grand Opening celebrations. Listened to the tropical steel drum sounds of Mickey Mills and Steel of Carrboro. Produced this oil painting "Raleigh Convention Center, Anew". It's a 36 inch by 24 inch piece. Hurricane Hanna put a damper on the morning, excuse the pun. But the crowds showed up in force.
